My E-Wallpaper

This is how the end result of my e-wallpaper should be ;)

Thank you.

Tutorial 3 & 4 : Retouching and Enhancing

Hi again people! well this tutorial is basically about correction. Retouching and enhancing my E-wallpaper.
first, after i open the file,i choose image>auto color to adjust the colour for my e-wall..
next, i choose image>adjustments>shadow/highlights to give more various event of colors to the wallpaper.

As u can see, i have made a huge mistake that could put my marks in the drains. You see the actual topic is FOM OPEN DAY instead of MMU OPEN DAY. Therefore to get back on track, reopen the file > select the layer required > select the font at the toolbar > make changes to the wordings.
 At last...tadaaaaa......!!!
This is how it should look like :

Before you move on to anything, never ever forget to save your file.

Tutorial2 : Layering

Hi people! its time for layering the E-Wall paper! as u know the pictures have been uploaded earlier in last tutorial..so 1st,

drag and drop a picture into a new a4 paper in adobe photoshop :

to crop, i used the Quick Selection tool to carefully separate the parts that i do and do not need. The handling can be quite tough as the lines easily moves.Remember, PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE! After the picture has been cropped, drag it to the desired area > click ctrl+T button to adjust to adjust the size. below is the process :

now, I'll blend this picture in the paper so that it would be dimmed and appears as if the paper was made this way ;)
To do this, i selected Image > Adjustment > Exposure
here's how it looks like :

as you play along you will get the desired image you pictured. I sincerely was not quite sure of this at first. But it is OK to make trials and errors. Its all part of the learning process my dear friends ;)
Anyhow, the result should be like this :

Then, select other pictures and repeat the same process to develop layers of pictures.

The layering orders will appear automatically on the right handsight of your screen. If you wish to make any changes ie. resizing, duplicating, moving your pictures, click to the layer you wish and do the editing.

Lastly to make a purpose out of this e-wallpaper, insert the motive or objective of the wallpaper.for example here is MMU OPEN DAY.

for this e-wallpaper i am using the font : Franklin Gothic Bold , size : 18 to 68.

Tutorial 1 : Selection

Hi people! Well, this post is about my first tutorial which i learned about selection tools for images. As for my assignment,i need to create an e-wall paper for MMU opening day.
First, i selected a few images and pictures to make this e-wall paper :

Personally i think a good poster need not be too crowded or full as we provide information, not just pictures. Therefore i have chosen these pictures which are not boring and attractive too ;)

i open a new file in adobe photoshop,a software used to edit pictures to produce better quality of images.then i open all pictures i've selected earlier as shown as below:

of course i need to layer by parts but that will be in my next tutorial.=D till then, toodles!
