Tutorial2 : Layering

Hi people! its time for layering the E-Wall paper! as u know the pictures have been uploaded earlier in last tutorial..so 1st,

drag and drop a picture into a new a4 paper in adobe photoshop :

to crop, i used the Quick Selection tool to carefully separate the parts that i do and do not need. The handling can be quite tough as the lines easily moves.Remember, PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE! After the picture has been cropped, drag it to the desired area > click ctrl+T button to adjust to adjust the size. below is the process :

now, I'll blend this picture in the paper so that it would be dimmed and appears as if the paper was made this way ;)
To do this, i selected Image > Adjustment > Exposure
here's how it looks like :

as you play along you will get the desired image you pictured. I sincerely was not quite sure of this at first. But it is OK to make trials and errors. Its all part of the learning process my dear friends ;)
Anyhow, the result should be like this :

Then, select other pictures and repeat the same process to develop layers of pictures.

The layering orders will appear automatically on the right handsight of your screen. If you wish to make any changes ie. resizing, duplicating, moving your pictures, click to the layer you wish and do the editing.

Lastly to make a purpose out of this e-wallpaper, insert the motive or objective of the wallpaper.for example here is MMU OPEN DAY.

for this e-wallpaper i am using the font : Franklin Gothic Bold , size : 18 to 68.
